Ajay Srivastava, Dimensions Consulting is of the view that GE Shipping and Varun Shipping look attractive.

Srivastava told CNBC-TV18, "We have positions in GE Shipping and Varun Shipping. For Shipping one needs to watch, it is not easy to track the shipping companies because one needs to keep tracking the freight index and what is happening internationally."

He further added, "One has seen a lot of volatility coming through the shipping freight rates in the market. There is a lot of pessimism and it has again become optimism. We should see about 20-25% increases in the earnings for this company in the next year or so. We will also see like Varun Shipping a very high dividend rate, they have got a dividend of about Rs 4-5.5 on a share price of Rs 70. So it is very attractive to us. Varun from a dividend yield and GE from a capital yield perspective look good."
