Deven Choksey, MD, KRChoksey shares his view on power space.

Choksey told CNBC-TV18, "Power issue, ahead of Prime Minister's meeting with many of the industrialists and basically these industrialists are going to talk to Prime Minister about the issue which is required to be resolved which is fuel linkage issue which is required to be resolved. So most of the power stocks have basically moved up because of the expectation that after the meeting the Prime Minister probably I think this issue would probably get some amount of attention and would get resolved."

He further added, "As a result of which I think either you look at Reliance Power, Adani Power or Tata Power or for that matter Sterlite Energy kind of companies the promoters are likely to meet the Prime Minister, I think these stocks have already gone up. I see this as a possibility also at the same time, because I think this is one area if it is not attended properly then probably it may create a serious problem in the economy if the power space is not given due weightage. So I think it is going to be little bit positive, though the stock may have run up little bit ahead of time, but that's what our market is. So we will probably look at the possibility of this happening."
