Sudarshan Sukhani, s2analytics.com is of the view that cement stocks are not a short sell.

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “ ICICI Bank and the Axis Bank are outperformers, they are now clearly telling us that they are breaking support levels. The only exception is Kotak, which is in an uptrend of its own. So small dips in Kotak Bank should not be sold into but for the others, the trade is to be on the short side.”

He further added, “I am assuming this is a correction rather than anything else. Sometimes as you were just explaining news affects it, sometimes the market sentiment also, after the stocks will correct but cement stocks are not a short sell. We should be patient with them and once they come to their own support levels, individually, they would be buying opportunities.”
