Shahina Mukadam, Director of Varun Capital Markets is of the view that investor can buy Hero Honda Motors with long term perspective.

Mukadam told CNBC-TV18, "It's prudent to book profits, we have seen such a huge rally in Hero Honda. The markets seem uncertain as to which sides they are moving.Having said all that the fundamentals of this story remain, we did see the margins being maintained in this last quarter by M&M at 15% and I do believe that they will be in a position to pass on the incremental costs and also the raw material costs are moving up. At the same time I think there is pressure in terms of the overall sentiment on the auto stocks because of the expectation that the interest rates or the rollback may happen by the government in terms of the stimulus. So I think there could be some small bit of pressure but I would look at it as a good opportunity to buy at lower levels rather than getting out of the stock if one is a long term investor."
