One could buy Blue Star and Voltas for a short-term, says Devang Mehta, Anand Rathi Financial Services.
Mehta told CNBC-TV18, " We right now are having one thematic report on air-conditioners and refrigeration. What we have seen is in the last few years from April to June quarter is normally a very good quarter for the air-conditioning industry, particularly for Voltas , Whirlpool , Blue Star, all these stocks do extremely well and if we see historically that this stock normally gives returns anywhere in between 20-25% to even 60-70% for individual stocks."
He further added, "This industry is doing really well. The air-conditioner, the demand pick-up is seeing in the sales numbers also. So probably if somebody has a shorter term or medium term time horizon, one could very well buy a Blue Star and Voltas for a short-term 3-6 months perspective."
