Bull's Eye: Buy Sterlite Tech, NCC, short M&M, HCC

I started day by buying Shasun Pharma . This I buy with a target of Rs 85.5 and a stop loss at Rs 82.40. This is a stock that’s now beginning to come into its own and all the various measures and investments that it has made are now beginning to pay off.

GAIL is my next buy. This I buy with a target of Rs 382 and a stop loss at Rs 367. Once again I think a good quality stock for the long-term. GAIL is flagship natural gas company. I think at the current price it’s trading at about 9 times its FY13 estimated EPS. So you could look to buy this with a target of about Rs 425-430 but for the day I am recommending it with a target of Rs 382.

Gabriel is my next buy. This I buy with a target at Rs 47.25 and a stop loss at Rs 44.60. This is of course the auto ancillary in stock absorbers. We are seeing improved numbers from Gabriel. They supply across the supply chain, two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers etc. but they also supply to the Indian Railways which is why I have chosen to introduce it for the day.

Last stock on my list is Alstom Projects . This I buy with a target of Rs 401 and a stop loss at Rs 385. A company where we saw a slowdown in orders and execution really hit their numbers, but the NTPC ruling in the recent times could clear the way even for Alstom Projects and I think again the kind of order book pipeline that they have will ensure better numbers from Alstom Projects going forward. So this is a stock that I buy with a target of Rs 401.
