Bull's Eye: Buy GMR Infra, Rel Comm, Dena BankPublished on Wed, Feb 15, 2012 at 11:21 | Source : CNBC-TV18 Updated at Wed, Feb 15, 2012 at 11:49
Bull's Eye, CNBC-TV18's popular game show, where market experts come together to dish out trading strategies for you to make your week more exciting and compete with each other to see whose portfolio is the strongest. Remember these are midcap ideas not just for the day, but stocks that look attractive in the medium-term as well. This week, Aashish Tater of Fort Share Broking, Keval Bhanushali of Keynote Capital, and Saurabh Mittal of Swadeshi Credits battle it out for top honours. Below their top stock picks and analysis: Aashish Tater of Fort Share Broking I am going long on GVK Power for an intraday target of close to Rs 20. Basically we have a medium-term target of Rs 23 on to the stock which we feel is achievable over next three to four trading sessions. A safe bet where we feel a closing stoploss of Rs 16.55 should be kept for the targets to get achieved. The second stock is also a portfolio bet from our side. We feel GMR Infra is relatively undervalued and we have a short-term target of close to Rs 38 odd mark which we feel is achievable again in next three to four days technically. This stock has given a tremendous breakout and we feel the momentum is going to continue even going forward. I am going long on Lanco Infratech for an intraday target of close to Rs 19.50. Again a stock where we feel that there is a good chance of the stock going to test Rs 22-23 odd mark in next three to four days. Thus a safe bet with a closing stop of around Rs 17.50. The fourth is a short from my side. It's a hedge because we feel Educomp has posted a dismal result and the stock should get battered at least 3-4%. So we are shorting this particular stock for an intraday target of close to Rs 238. However, looking into the weight the better the result the faster the momentum on upside. One should keep a stop loss of around Rs 252.50 onto the stock if someone is going to short this stock around at Rs 247-248 odd mark.
