Mehraboon Irani , Centrum Broking is of the view that one should book partial profit in fertilisers stocks.

Irani told CNBC-TV18, "Fertiliser is a sector which definitely doesn't attract too much of attention except during the monsoons or just during the budget and this is a sector which not many like to track and not many understand beyond an extent. Point number two is that they always run up before the budget."

He further added, "Honestly its not going to be very easy despite the best intentions of the government. So, I honestly feel at the present level that this is one sector along with many sectors which we also love to look at for the investors before the budget but at the present levels, honestly the comfort level is not very high considering the fact that it is not going to be smooth for the government to do what otherwise it will be wanting to do, so at the present level. I don't think I would be advising anyone to buying right now with the event just left five hours away as far as the stock market is concerned, so I would not recommend buying into this sector, people who have bought this before the budget, I would advice them to book partial profits in the stock for fertilizer pack."
