Bajaj Auto, Hero Motocorp top picks in auto space: Sukhani

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “This is a very good time to buy auto stocks for anyone who wants to build a portfolio for the next two or three years, because essentially these are dips that we are seeing. We may not actually see such prices again once the market starts rallying. So that was the idea. It was not a day trade it’s much of a short-term trade.”

He further added, “My favorites are Bajaj Auto and Hero Motocorp that remains. Even if we are looking at the longer term these two stocks are likely to outperform. The advantage is that even in the shorter term if somebody buys for a short-term trade for a couple of weeks or more, these are the two stocks I would recommend. Once we take these two away then the peak starts from Tata Motors, I think it goes all the way down to Ashok Leyland which is the least favorite.”
