Nehra rewarded with central contract from cricket board

Indian medium pacer Ashish Nehra has been rewarded for his successful return to the national team with a central contact for the 2009-2010 season.

Nehra was given a grade B contract worth around USD 86,580 for the period October1, 2009 to September 30, 2010, the Indian cricket board said in a statement on Wednesday.

Grade A (approx USD 129,870) - Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Vangipurappu Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh.

Grade B (approx USD 86,580) - Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Munaf Patel, Rudra Pratap Singh, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Ashish Nehra.

Grade C (approx USD 54,112) - Subramaniam Badrinath, Wasim Jaffer, Yusuf Pathan, Pragyan Ojha, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Dinesh Karthik, Amit Mishra, Irfan Pathan.

Grade D (approx USD 32,467) - Piyush Chawla, Ravindra Jadeja, Robin Uthappa, Parthiv Patel, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammad Kaif, Virat Kohli, Ashok Dinda, Wriddhiman Saha, Murali Vijay, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Sudeep Tyagi, Dhawal Kulkarni, Abhishek Nayar, Ajinkya Rahane, Manoj Tiwary.
