Mirari Jewels: A true international brand

On CNBC-TV18's special show Young Turks Transformers, you get to meet a game changer, a young Indian entrepreneur who is rewriting the rules of the SME game. You also meet a change agent a social entrepreneur who is empowering millions of Indians through a sustainable business idea and on launch pad we profile a young start up or incubate company. 

On game changeer this week we meet a young woman entrepreneur called Uzma Ifran, Director (Corp comm) Prestige Group. Uzma is generation next of Rs 1000 crore. Prestige Group. Pretige is a largely a southern developer responsible for developing almost 20 million sq feet of land across residential, commercial and the hospitality sector but Uzma wants to take Prestige national.

Our change agent this week is all of 20 and she started a youth movement when she was just in school way back in 2002. Ishita Chaudhry is the Founder of Youth Parliament an organization that is empowering the youth of this country to drive change across areas like healthcare, education and employment. She has mentored almost 5,000 young people through this organization and she is hoping to do a lot more. Her effort has been recognized by the Clinton Global Foundation.

On launch pad we meet Mira Gulati, a trained jewellery designer and a gemologist who launched her brand Mirari. Mirari was launched in 2005 with Rs 25 crore, Mirari has two flagship outlets and even roped in Anoushka Shankar as the brand ambassador.
