Right from the 1800s when it had just begun to develop, the art of photography has always been considered one of the most personal and purer form of self expression. In todays increasingly image driven culture, photography has only become all the more ubiquitous. It was the spirit of this unbridled art that the Better Photography magazine chose to celebrate as it returned with the Nikon Better Photography Photographer of the Year Competition 2009.
