All for this one moment with Venu Srinivasan

Venu Srinivasan is the grandson of the legendary businessman TV Sundaram who founded the TVS Group. Even so, things didn't quite come on a platter for Srinivasan who joined the group as a mechanic in the TVS garage.

In 1979, Srinivasan who is trained as an engineer and an MBA from Purdue University, took over as a CEO of Sundaram Clayton. The same year, the TVS Motor company was born under his leadership. Today TVS Motor company is the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and among the top-ten in the world. With an annual turnover of more than USD 1 billion in 2007-2008, it is the flagship company of the USD 4 billion TVS Group. Venu Srinivasan is also the president of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
