On Tuesday, the spot rupee closed lower at Rs 47.30 per USD as against its previous close of Rs 46.95 per USD.
N Subramaniam of Pinnacle Forex said that the rupee will continue to be weak today on back of sell-off in local equities. Major currencies like euro continue to be under pressure against the dollar indicating positive sentiment for the latter. The range for the day is seen between Rs 47.20-47.65 per dollar.
