The Indian rupee opened at 55.35 per dollar versus 55.27 yesterday.
Pramit Brahmbhatt, Alpari India said, "The fading risk on trades in global markets coupled with weak domestic fundamentals will continue to weigh on the rupee. Expectations of stronger policy action and inexpensive liquidity will cap the weakness. The range for the rupee is seen between 55.10-55.60/USD."
