Rupee opens at Rs 46.79 per dollar

The Indian rupee opened at Rs 46.79 per dollar versus Rs 46.44 yesterday.

Pramit Brahmbhatt, Alpari India said that, "The rupee is likely to be negative on weak global cues. But it is unlikely to breach the 47/$ mark today. I expect to see a recovery next week."
