The Indian rupee opened at Rs 45.53 per dollar versus Rs 45.63 yesterday.
N Subramaniam, Pinnacle Forex said that, "The rupee is expected to be in a steady range. Not much has happened in the international market and the major currencies are currently trading sideways. I expect the rupee to trade between 45.50-45.70/$."
