The Indian rupee opened at 55.67 per dollar versus 55.80 yesterday.


Manis Thanawala, Greenback Forex said, "The rupee is likely to be stronger as the market factors in the possibility of another round of quantitative easing globally & further rate cuts by the RBI on Monday. The range for the day is seen between 55.40-56.05/USD."
