The Indian rupee opened at 55.54 per dollar versus 55.34 yesterday.


Pramit Brahmbhatt, Alpari India said, "The rupee is likely to remain rangebound. Inflation is likely to come in at 7.3% and may weigh on the currency. The range for the day is seen between 55.20-55.80/USD."
