On Wednesday, the widely traded 6.90%, 2019 paper closed lower at Rs 96.78 as against its previous close of Rs 96.85.

According to Suresh Prabhu, HDFC Bank, the 10-year yield has gone up on the back of the higher inflation numbers expected today. The range for the day is seen between 7.37-7.40%.
