On Tuesday, the widely traded 6.90%, 2019 paper ended higher at Rs 97.74 as against its previous close of Rs 97.27.

RK Gurumurthy of ING Vysya said that bonds see buying interest as increase in SLR ratio appears to be translating into real demand. The 10-year yield is likely to move towards 7.10%.
