Here are the highlights:

  • Geometric Q2 Revenues up 9.5% sequentially, 76.6% annually
  • Geometric Software Solutions rebrands itself as "Geometric"

Financial Highlights: Consolidated results for the Quarter ended Sep 30, 2007

• Revenue from operations for the quarter was Rs 122.5 crore (Rs 1225 million), a growth of 53.2% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year

• EBITDA grew by 7.1% over the corresponding Quarter of the previous year to Rs 19.68 crore (Rs196.87 million)

• Profit after tax was Rs 9.068 cr (Rs 90.68 million) as against Rs 10.09 cr for the corresponding quarter of the previous year

• Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter was Rs 1.45

Business Highlights for the Quarter

• 8 new customers were added during Q2, taking the total number of active customers to 109

• An agreement was signed with a leading air conditioning equipment manufacturer in the US to support the design and development support for their manufacturing operations

• A contract was signed for PLM consulting for a major Hi Tech company in the Asia Pacific region

• An agreement was signed with a leading power equipment manufacturer to support their global PLM program

• Another agreement was signed with a large player in the Oil & Gas Industry for enterprise process analysis and implementation within their PLM system

• An agreement was reached with a world leader in integrated technology solutions dedicated to the soft goods industries including Fashion, to set up a dedicated Offshore Development Centre (ODC) for enhancing their PLM product
