Praj Industries has reported its earnings result for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011. The company's net profit came in at Rs 21 crore versus 14 crore, year-on-year (YoY). Its net sales rose to Rs 219 crore, a 48% growth over corresponding quarter in previous fiscal.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Pramod Chaudhari, chairman, Praj Industries says it should not be a problem to clock Rs 800 crore revenue and maybe Rs 75 crore bottomline this year.

"We are definitely trying to be back on the growth track. The economic situation is still not that good but against that we are able to show some resilience and able to grow."

Henceforth, he says, they should be able to continue to achieve definitive growth in time to come. "We generally don't give out an exact guidance but growth is definitely one of the major agenda for us and we will continue to do that," he adds.
