TV18 Broadcast Q2 net loss at Rs 8 cr

TV18 Broadcast has announced its second quarter results. The company's Q2FY12 consolidated operating revenues were up at Rs 302 crore versus Rs 266 crore, quarter-on-quarter, (QoQ).

TV18 Broadcast has reported a net loss of Rs 8 crore in the second quarter of FY12 as against profit of Rs 21 crore in the previous quarter.

Consolidated operating revenues were up 13.5% to Rs 302 crore from Rs 266 crore, quarter-on-quarter, (QoQ). Operating profit came in at Rs 24.8 crore during the quarter from continuing operations as against Rs 25 crore in previous quarter.

In the first half of FY12, the company posted a loss of Rs 13 crore. Operating revenues were at Rs 568 crore.

Debt during the same period increased to Rs 684 crore from Rs 671 crore.
