Sun Pharma Q2 net profit up at Rs 186.4cr

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has declared its second quarter results. The company's consolidated net profit is up at Rs 186.4 crore (Rs 1.86 billion) from Rs 147.8 crore (Rs 1.47 billion).

Its net sales are up at Rs  536.2 crore (Rs 5.36 billion) from Rs 415.2 crore (Rs 4.15 billion).

Its OPM is down at 31.9% versus 32.3%.

According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, the company's net profit was expected to go up 16.89% from Rs 147.84 crore (Rs 1.47 billion) to Rs 172.8 crore (Rs 1.72 billion).

Its revenues were seen going up 21.02% from Rs 422.28 crore (Rs 4.22 billion) to Rs 511.05 crore (Rs 5.11 billion).
