Fine-dining chain Speciality Restaurants pleased the street with fourth quarter net profit rising 2.4 times year-on-year to Rs 5.3 crore on higher other income.
Net sales grew by 23 percent from Rs 44.2 crore to Rs 54.4 crore year-on-year.
Other income jumped 6 times year-on-year to Rs 2.67 crore from Rs 43 lakh.
For the year ended 2012-13, the company's net profit rose from Rs 17.25 crore to Rs 23.41 crore and sales increased to 214.83 crore from Rs 187.81 crore during the same period.
Other income grew more than three times from Rs 2.71 crore to Rs 9.16 crore in FY13.
The stock rallied 6.23 percent to finish at Rs 180.65 amid large volumes on Bombay Stock Exchange.
