Power Grid Q2 net profit up 8.9% at Rs 709 cr

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported a net profit of Rs 709 crore for the second quarter of FY12, a growth of 8.9% as compared to Rs 651 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

Revenue from operations increased 6.44% to Rs 2,264 crore from Rs 2,127 crore year-on-year.
