Marico Q2 cons net up 9.42% at Rs 78.3 cr
FMCG major Marico has reported consolidated net profit of Rs 78.3 crore in the second quarter of FY12, a growth of 9.42% as compared to Rs 71.56 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

Consolidated net sales jumped 25% to Rs 974 crore from Rs 778.8 crore during the same period.
Numbers were in line with expectations; CNBC-TV18 poll saw net profit at Rs 79 crore and net sales at Rs 994 crore.
