Infosys Q2 net up 17.13% at Rs 930cr

Infosys Technologies  has announced its second quarter results. The company's Q2 net profit is up 17.13% at Rs 930 crore (Rs 9.30 billion) from Rs 794 crore (Rs 7.94 billion), quarter-on-quarter, QoQ. 

Its revenues are up 14.46% at Rs 3,451 crore (Rs 34.51 billion) from Rs 3,015 crore (Rs 30.15 billion).

CNBC-TV18 estimate for net profit and revenues were at Rs 854.26 crore (Rs 8.54 billion) and Rs 3,327 crore (Rs 33.27 billion), respectively.

Its other income is at Rs 66 crore (Rs 660 million) versus Rs 128 crore (Rs 1.28 billion).

In Q2, Infosys added 45 clients, gross addition of 10,795 employees.

Infosys' Guidance FY07

  • The company's FY07 revenue growth guidance has been revised upwards at 45.5%
  • Its revenue guidance is of over USD 3 billion
  • Its revenue guidance is up from Rs 13,400 crore (Rs 134 billion) to Rs 13,899 crore (Rs 138.99 billion)
  • The EPS guidance is up from Rs 62.25-62.87 to Rs 66.
