Escorts has declared its Q2FY08 results. The company's standalone net sales were at Rs 531.47 crore versus Rs 573.64 crore on YoY basis. In the same quarter its standalone operating profit was at Rs 32.68 crore Rs 44.56 crore on YoY basis whereas the standalone net profit stood at Rs 9.68 crore versus Rs 6.71 crore on YoY basis. During the same quarter its interest expenses were at Rs 15.92 crore versus Rs 21.8 crore. The OPM were at 6.1% versus 7.8%.
