Eicher Motors Q2 net profit at Rs 76 cr

Eicher Motors today posted a marginal decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 75.96 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 76.31 crore during the same period in the previous year, Eicher Motors said in a filing to the BSE.

Eicher Motors today posted a marginal decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 75.96 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 76.31 crore during the same period in the previous year, Eicher Motors said in a filing to the BSE.

Net sales of the company, however, rose to Rs 1,573.05 crore during the second quarter ended June 30, 2012, compared to Rs 1,268.75 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of Eicher Motors today closed at Rs 60.85 apiece on the BSE, down 1.06% from its previous close.
