Aztecsoft Q2 net up 24.05% at Rs 11.5cr

Aztecsoft has announced its Q2FY07 results. The company's Q2 net profit was up 24.05% from Rs 9.27 crore (Rs 92.7 million) to Rs 11.5 crore (Rs 115 million), quarter-on-quarter, QoQ.

Its revenues were up 14.15% from Rs 59.48 crore (Rs 594.8 million) to Rs 67.9 crore (Rs 679 million) QoQ.

The operating profit margin for the second quarter was at 23.38%.

The company added 525 employees and 13 clients in Q2 versus 16 in Q1.

It will transfer ODC of Dendrite from Jan 1, 2007. The ODC contributes 10% of Aztecsoft's revenue and a lower percentage of its profits. The company expects no significant affect on future growth and profitability due to transfer.

The CNBC-TV18 estimated the net profit and revenues at Rs 11.25 crore (Rs 112.5 million) and Rs 66 crore (Rs 660 million), respectively.

The operating profit margin for the Q4FY06 and Q1FY07 were 24% and 21%, respectively.
