Jaiprakash Associates is to announce its Q1FY09 numbers. According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, its net sales is seen going up at Rs 1142 crore for first quarter as against Rs 927 crore in same period of last year.

Profit after tax, PAT is expected to go up at Rs 171 crore versus Rs 140 crore and OPM is seen improving at 28.2% from 25.78% YoY. 

These numbers could be vary depending on booking of Realty Revenues. 

Factors to watch

  • Volume growth in cement business aided by commissioning of grinding capacities at Chunar and Panipat
  • Topline growth aided by rev booking from Real estate

  • Project carries a contract price of Rs 30000 crore
