India Cements Q4 PAT seen up at Rs 90cr

India Cements is to announce its Q4FY07 results. According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, the company is likely to post profit after tax of Rs 90.16 crore (Rs 901.6 million) in fourth quarter versus Rs 24.10 crore (Rs 241 million) in corresponding quarter of previous year.

India Cements  is to announce its Q4FY07 results. According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, the company is likely to post profit after tax of Rs 90.16 crore (Rs 901.6 million) in fourth quarter versus Rs 24.10 crore (Rs 241 million) in corresponding quarter of previous year.


Its profit before tax may go up to Rs 128.80 crore (Rs 1.28 billion) from Rs 27.02 crore (Rs 270.2 million).


Net sales is expected to increase by 35% to Rs 571.20 crore (Rs 5.71 billion) from Rs 422.76 crore (Rs 4.22 billion). The OPM may improve to 32.50% versus 18.06%.
 
For quarter-on-quarter, India Cements is likely to report net sales of Rs 571.20 crore from Rs 472.40 crore (Rs 4.72 billion), a growth of 20.9%.


The profit before tax is expected to go up 60% at Rs 128.80 crore from Rs 80.30 crore (Rs 803 million) and PAT up at Rs 90.16 crore versus Rs 79.78 crore (Rs 797.8 million). The OPM may go up at 32.50% versus 28.15%.
 
Factors to watch out for


  • Sequential and YoY growth in volumes and realisations to show in topline and bottomline
  • Net profit may be subdued due to higher tax rate; in absence of higher tax rate, bottomline growt to be substantially higher
  • OPM might come in slightly lower than earlier expectations due to higher coal costs
