HT Media has come out with its Q3FY07 result. Net profit in the third quarter of current financial year was at Rs 34 crore (Rs 340 million) against Rs 16.2 crore (Rs 162 million) during the same quarter previous year. CNBC-TV18's research analyst Tanvir Gill reviews the results:

According to the estimates the company has recorded a growth of 27% compared to that of industry, which was at 18%. The pressure on raw material and other overheads would continue. It will pass higher costs only when absolutely necessary.
Circulation revenues continue to remain negative while ad revenues are up by 10%. Other Income on YoY basis went up from Rs 4.7 crore to Rs 15 crore. Other Income on QoQ went up 95% from Rs 15 cr to Rs 7.5 cr. This increase is on account of third-party transactions, investments of IPO proceeds as well as outstanding advertising income adjusted this quarter.
