Dalmia Cements has announced its third quarter earnings. The company's net profit was up at Rs 64.84 crore (Rs 648.4 million) from Rs 11.7 crore (Rs 117 million) in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Puneet Dalmia, VP of Dalmia Cements, says that the company has plans to raise more capital over the next six months.
According to him, fixed costs are going up as a result of upward pressure on wages and higher coal prices in internatioanl markets.
He also informs that they plan to commision two new plants in sugar business in the next quarter.
