Drop in revenues to continue in Q3 too: Sasken Comm

Sasken Communication Technologies ' revenues were up 0.7% at Rs 133.8 crore versus Rs 130 crore and profit after tax (PAT) was up 58.4% at Rs 15.72 crore versus Rs 10.7 crore (QoQ).

Moreover, the company's services revenues have grown by about 2.7% QoQ. "We have seen drop in revenues from our tier one customers out of Europe," Rajiv Mody, chairman and chief executive officer of the company told CNBC-TV18 in an interview. He also stated that this drop would continue in this as well as the next quarter.

Sasken saw an improved performance, both on topline as well as EBITDA. According to Mody, it has been a decent quarter. He expects to see solid demand, primarily form the semiconductor and handsets business led by Android operating system.

When asked about the FY12 company guidance, Mody denied replying.
