Drop in revenues to continue in Q3 too: Sasken Comm
Sasken saw an improved performance, both on topline as well as EBITDA. According to Rajiv Mody, chairman and chief executive officer, it has been a decent quarter. He expects to see solid demand, primarily form the semiconductor and handsets business led by Android operating system.
Sasken Communication Technologies ' revenues were up 0.7% at Rs 133.8 crore versus Rs 130 crore and profit after tax (PAT) was up 58.4% at Rs 15.72 crore versus Rs 10.7 crore (QoQ).
Moreover, the company's services revenues have grown by about 2.7% QoQ. "We have seen drop in revenues from our tier one customers out of Europe," Rajiv Mody, chairman and chief executive officer of the company told CNBC-TV18 in an interview. He also stated that this drop would continue in this as well as the next quarter.
