Jagran Prakashan Q1 PAT likely to be unchanged at Rs 43 cr

Jagran Prakashan, the publisher of the leading Hindi Daily Dainik Jagran, willl report its earnings today for the quarter ended June 2012. Analysts on an average expect no change in standalone profit after tax of Rs 43 crore quarter-on-quarter.

Jagran Prakashan , the publisher of the leading Hindi Daily Dainik Jagran, willl report its earnings today for the quarter ended June 2012. Analysts on an average expect no change in standalone profit after tax of Rs 43 crore quarter-on-quarter.


Total income from operations is likely to grow by just 3% QoQ to Rs 320 crore due to weak advertising environment and robust circulation growth.


Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) seen up by 23% to Rs 80 crore in the quarter.


Operating profit margin is expected to improve 400 basis points QoQ to 25% in the April-June quarter.
