IT firm Cyient is expected to report a 2.8 percent sequential growth in profit at Rs 100 crore and 2.4 percent growth in revenue at Rs 935.5 crore in October-December quarter.
Dollar revenue during the quarter may increase 1.6 percent to USD 138.7 million compared with previous quarter, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.
Operating profit is likely to inch up 2.2 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 130 crore and margin may remain flat at 13.9 percent in Q3.
The company had already guided for a soft third quarter on account of seasonal weakness (lesser working days and furloughs), with 3-4 percent being lost because of lower capacity. However, it may try to minimise seasonal impact.
It had delivered a strong performance in Q2FY17 at 9.5 percent (10.3 percent growth in constant currency revenue) after many quarters of disappointment.
