Sun Pharma an underperformer: Karvy

Karvy Stock Broking has maintained its underperformer rating on Sun Pharmaceutical Industries with a target price of Rs 1125 in its August 17, 2009 research report.

"Sun Pharma recently received USFDA approval for generic Eloxatin and Imitrex. Eloxatin is 180 day shared exclusivity. 5 players have approval during the exclusivity period. We maintain our EPS estimates for FY 10E and FY 11E but upgrade our multiple to 16x as compared to 15x earlier and upgrade our price target by 6.6 % to Rs 1125 based on 16x FY 2011E. We however continue to maintain Underperformer rating on the stock," says Karvy's research report.
