Lincoln Pharmaceutical revenue up by 24%

Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Limited (LPL), Ahmedabad based world class pharmaceutical company recognized for manufacturing top class quality Health Care Products, announces its Q3 results.

With revenue up by 24% the company is set on a high growth trajectory. Growth has mainly come from the new products launched in the last fiscal and from the restructuring of the businesses into separate divisions mainly Teresa - gynecological business, Lords –formulation for Malaria and other diseases and Gastro – general pharma division. However PBT was reduced from 7 crores to 6.5 crores due to the reorganization of the portfolio.

Two of the LPL products that have been well received in the market are TINNEX injection using Caroverine for the cure for Tinnitus commonly known as "ringing in the ear" and Pa-12 - India’s first Long-Acting Paracetamol. Pa-12 contains 1000mg paracetamol, programmed for “Non-Stop 12 hours fever control with 1 tab only.

Speaking on the results Mahendra G Patel, MD, Lincoln Pharmaceutical Ltd. said, “The restructuring of the entire business was definitely required. While in the short term it has cost us a reduction in PBT, we are definitely going to see positive effects of the restructuring in the long term as it will help us concentrate on each division individually. The launch of the two new products TINNEX injection and Pa12 will strengthen our position in the pharmaceutical industry and will pave the path for stupendous growth. We are looking forward to double digit growth in the next fiscal”.
