Opposition BJP in Jammu and Kashmir today said the state government had become a coterie of corrupt elements. Levelling the charge at a public meeting here this evening, Jammu (East) MLA Ashok Khajuria asked people to think if a government existed in the state and if it did what it was doing for the common people.
"The NC and Congress may claim of giving a transparent and accountable dispensation but the reality is totally the opposite. The government is a coterie of corrupt elements trying to outdo each other in amassing wealth overnight," he said. He said Jammu has the history of great Dogras who never compromised on principles, honour and dignity of Duggar culture but it is indeed unfortunate that the young Dogra generation is getting lured by the Kashmir-centric parties like NC and PDP.
He alleged that under a well planned conspiracy, there has been attempts to change the demography of Jammu and the need of the hour is that Dogras should get united to foil such designs which if allowed to succeed will ruin their culture.
