At 12 noon, the Instanex FII Index was up 0.52% at 315.89 (+0.30% at 11 am) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was up 0.53% (+0.35% at 11 am). Sensex was up 0.44% (+0.21% at 11 am) and Nifty was up 0.43% (+0.21% at 11 am). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were also up – the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was up 0.60% (+0.20% at 11 am), the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was up 0.48% (+0.21% at 11 am) and the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was up 0.22% (+0.01% at 11 am). Asian markets were mixed – KOSPI closed 0.61% higher (+0.42% at 11 am), Nikkei 225 closed 0.61% lower (-0.70% at 11 am) and Straits Times was down 0.75% (-1.00% at 10 am).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index ten were up and five were down. The main gainers were NTPC (+2.08%; weight 2.30%), HDFC (+2.06%; weight 13.75%) and Sun Pharma (+1.49%; weight 1.52%) and the main losers were Infosys (-1.71%; weight 11.18%) and ITC (-0.70%; weight 3.35%).
