At 11 am, the Instanex FII Index was up 0.30% at 315.18 (-0.07% at 10 am) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was up 0.35% (-0.07% at 10 am). Sensex (-0.34% at 10 am) and Nifty (-0.31% at 10 am) were up 0.21%. The other Instanex Ownership Indices were mixed – the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was up 0.21% (-0.12% at 10 am), the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was up 0.20% (-0.26% at 10 am) and the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was down 0.01% (-0.23% at 10 am). Asian markets were also mixed – Shanghai Composite was up 0.76% (+0.26% at 10 am), KOSPI was up 0.42% (-0.20% at 10 am) and Nikkei 225 was down 0.70% (-1.31% at 10 am).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index eight were up and seven were down. The main gainers were HDFC (+2.10%; weight 13.79%), NTPC (+1.58%; weight 2.29%) and BHEL (+1.31%; weight 5.74%) and the main losers were Infosys (-1.63%; weight 11.22%) and ONGC (-1.55%; weight 4.47%).
