I want to invest 5000 per month over a period of 20 years to get the maximum return. Please suggest the best mutual funds to get best return. Also let me know about the MIS in mutual fund which I can pay my SIP.

: You can consider diversified large-cap mutual funds scheme which will give consistent returns. Now there are no maximum returns in equity markets. Rather you should aim for returns which can help you in meeting your goals for which you are investing. Through SIPs in equity funds, expecting returns of 12-15% is reasonable.

how should i start investing in mutual funds...? Is it good avenue ?

    Posted By: Jitendra Solanki

: Yes, its a good avenue as it gives you enough choice for both- Long-term and short-term goals. You should first identify any goal for which you wish to invest. This will give you holding period for your investments and the amount you should invest. Then you can select the viable option from different mutual funds categories to meet your goal.

I am 28 Years old. My portfolio is Axis Long Term Equity Fund 1000 P.M, SBI Bluechip Fund 1000 P.M, HDFC Midcap Opportunities fund 10000 Lumsome. Kindly review my Portfolio for 30 Years horizon for retirement goal. Also suggest some good ELSS Funds that I can add to achieve 5 Crore corpus after 30 Years.

: Your portfolio is fine for long-term investing. I would suggest investing in the existing funds instead of adding another fund. This will avoid too many funds in your portfolio.

Which type of mf to invest after retirement?

    Posted By: Jitendra Solanki

: Much depends on your requirement. If the need is generating monthly income then debts funds are an ideal option. But its always advisable to have some amount of portfolio in equities which can grow your corpus and meet your requirement in later years of life.

i want to invest 50000 rs . so which MF give me best return in 5-6 year

    Posted By: Jitendra Solanki

: There are no best returns in mutual funds and it should not be your parameter. The returns are aligned with risk characteristics of the schemes. For 5-6 years you may consider diversified equity mutual funds schemes but do understand the volatility associated with it.
