Quantum Mutual Fund has launched Quantum Equity Fund of Funds, an open-ended fund of funds scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of open-ended diversified equity schemes of mutual funds registered with Sebi. The new fund offer (NFO) open for subscription from June 26 to July 13, 2009. The fund will re-open for continuous sale and re-purchase on July 22, 2009. The NFO price is Rs 10 per unit.
The scheme offers Growth and Dividend option, under dividend option, the investor can choose either dividend payout or reinvestment option.
Minimum investment amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
The scheme will not charge any entry load. The scheme will charge exit load of 1.5% if redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment.
The scheme will invest 90-100% in open ended equity diversified schemes of mutual funds registered with Sebi with high-risk profile. Investments in money market instruments will be up to 10% with low to medium risk profile. The scheme will only invest in third party mutual funds. The fund shall invest in a mix of diversified equity schemes, mid cap/ small cap/ large cap oriented schemes.
The Fund would be managed by Arvind Chari. The benchmark to evaluate the performance of the Scheme shall be the BSE 200.
