MUMBAI - Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund today sought Securities and Exchange Board of India's approval to launch Baroda Pioneer Infrastructure Fund, according to the regulator's website. The open-ended equity scheme will invest 65% of assets in shares of infrastructure and infrastructure-related sectors like transport, banks, telecom, energy, power, and financial institutions. Investments in debt and money market instruments have been capped at 35%. . Other features: * Options: Growth and dividend; * Minimum application: 5,000 rupees and in multiples of 1 rupee thereafter; * Minimum additional application: 1,000 rupees and in multiples of 1 rupee thereafter; * Entry load: Nil; * Exit load: 1.0% if redeemed on or before 365 days from date of allotment, otherwise nil; * Performance benchmark index: CNX 100 Index; * Fund manager: Dipak Acharya.
