NAVs surged as market continues with its uptrend

Equity funds yet again surged owing to positive global and domestic cues.  The broader indices Large cap and Small & Mid cap were up by 1 % each.  Equity funds including Balanced funds advanced witnessing just few losers.

Among the sectoral space, FMCG and Technology registered no losers while a few were seen in Banking & Finance. All the funds in Pharma & Healthcare sector slumped with no gainers.

The Sensex rose 131.27 points or 0.76%, to close at 17,431.85 while the Nifty went up 34.20 points or 0.65%, to end at 5,269.90 after hitting an intraday low of 5,225.75.

In the debt space, both Short term and Long term debt funds maintained robust performance registering few losers in either category.
