NAVs surge amid flat market performance

In the sector space, Pharma & Healthcare funds lost the most followed by Technology funds. Banking & Finance and FMCG were winning categories with no decline registered.

The BSE Sensex rose 56.47 points to 17,440.87 while Nifty closed at 5,274 up by 20.25 points.

On the debt front, both the Long and Short term funds delivered good performance with very few decline registered. The market experts are of the view that the debt market continue to remain lackluster on the lack of any major data point.
