NAVs slumped led by weak market triggers

In the sector space, barring Technology funds all others succumb under market pressure.

The Indian market ended Wednesday' trade on a pessimist note as traders chose to sit on the sidelines ahead of the F&O expiry and Q4 GDP numbers slated for a release today. The Sensex closed at 16312.15 down 126.43 points or 0.77% and the Nifty shuts shop at 4946.95 down 43.15 points or 0.86%.

In the debt space, Long term category witnessed some stumbling performance while Short term category continues to deliver good performance. According to Mohan Shenoi, Kotak Mahindra Bank the upside in debt funds will be capped on account of auction supply today.
